If your Epson L805 printer is showing the error “Ink pad is at the end of its service life. Contact Epson”, it means the printer’s internal waste ink pads are full. This error stops printing until it’s reset. In this guide, I’ll show you how to fix the Epson L805 ink pad error using the Epson Adjustment Program.

Common Signs of Epson L805 Ink Pad Error

  • Printer stops working and displays the error message on your computer.
  • Power light and error light blinking alternately.
  • The printer refuses to print even though it’s mechanically fine.

How to Reset Epson L805 Ink Pad Error

Before starting, make sure to disable antivirus or Windows Defender, as the reset utility might be blocked.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the Epson Adjustment Program for Epson L805 (find the link below of this page).
  2. Extract the downloaded file to your desktop.
  3. Run the adjustment program (disable antivirus first).
  4. When prompted for a password, enter bilalk.com.
  5. Select your printer model (Epson L805) from the list.
  6. Click Particular Adjustment Mode.
  7. Choose Waste Ink Pad Counter.
  8. Tick Main Pad Counter and click Check.
  9. Click Initialization to reset the counter.
  10. Restart your printer and test print.

Important Notes

  • This reset removes the error message but does not physically replace the ink pads.
  • If possible, clean or replace the pads to avoid ink overflow.
  • Always reset only when necessary.

Hello, i am trying to fix my printer, it is having the similar issues on what you have introduced above. However i am having difficulties as when i clicked run, it shows an error message ‘windows cannot complete the extraction”. The destination file could not be created’. Please advise me what to do next.
FYI, i have temporarily disabled my antivirus.
